DOS Batch programming

DOS Batch Programming

The book shown above was written by Dan Gookin, he also wrote the well known book 'DOS for Dummies' as well as many other 'For Dummies' books.

I very rarely write DOS batch files today, however they were a quite easy and powerful way of controlling a PC running DOS.

The background knowledge of being able to control a PC using DOS commands still comes in very useful today.
