Acorn BBC Model 'B'
The BBC 'B' was launched in 1982, and backed by the BBC, they even had a television series (Making the most of the Micro) based around it. I bought a 'Beeb' as my second machine, it was a very well built and versatile machine and was far more robust and versatile than the ZX Spectrum, it had many ports available to the user, and with my background in electronics I became very interested in interfacing it to other equipment.
