Clipper was the premier PC-Software development tool for DOS. It was first developed by Nantucket Corporation initially as a compiler for dBaseIII+ programs. Since then, CA-Clipper evolved away from its x-base roots with the introduction of lexical scoping & pre-defined objects like TBrowse.
I have not used Clipper to create a new system for a number of years, the last full project I used it on was a Recipe and Stock Control system for Noon Products. However I do receive many requests to undertake maintenance and enhancement tasks with old legacy Clipper systems.
